If you’re anticipating the GMC Hummer EV, you’re not alone. Considering that revival rumors started circulating back in 2014, the suspense has been building for a while. While we don’t know everything about the model, we do have some details.
The GMC Hummer EV will have the capacity to go from 0-60 mph in about three seconds while yielding more than 1,000 horsepower and an estimated 11,500 lb-ft of axle torque. You can also expect it to have off-road capability, so you can transition from smooth roads to rougher ones when an adventurous mood strikes.
GMC has yet to reveal info about the battery range, charging time, or motors. But Motor1.com’s Jeff Perez predicts that the Hummer EV will have at least two electric motors as well as an all-wheel-drive system.
The Hummer EV’s appearance remains mostly a mystery. Though, a teaser image that the brand recently released gave us a glimpse of the model’s front end. The Hummer EV will incorporate a six-slat grille featuring each letter of the word “HUMMER.” Squared LED headlights and illumination add a touch of contemporary style.

The 2019 GMC Terrain AWD SLT trim is one of the most highly sought after versions of this already popular compact SUV. But why is the SLT trim getting so much attention? It’s simple: This model has the style, comfort, and capabilities that any driver is looking for in a crossover SUV, and at an affordable price compared to competitors.
The 2019 Terrain has an available 2.0-liter engine with all-wheel drive, a feature everyone should opt for — especially if you plan on going off-road, according to Pamplin Media. The new Black Edition, in particular, will appeal to those who want something truly bold, as its all-black paint and 19-inch black alloy wheels will make a statement wherever you go.
“The interior was just as nice, with special leather front bucket seats that were wider, and more comfortable, than most competitors. The out-of-date dash has been replaced with a contemporary design that features easy to find and use controls. The upgraded infotainment system is among the best GM has ever offered,” said Jim Redden at Pamplin.
Other great features include the Hill Descent Control system with a low gear for going off-road, as well as an easy-to-use Electronic Precision Shift system in lieu of the traditional shift lever.
The 2017 model year of the GMC Acadia brought
an all-new, technology-packed, family-friendly SUV to the market with a
complete redesign. Now, the Acadia nameplate is due for a mid-cycle update.
We’re shining a spotlight on the refreshed GMC Acadia Denali trim level, including
its more spacious cabin, a new standard engine, and updates to the exterior.
Under the hood, the 2020 GMC Acadia Denali runs
on a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that lashes out 230 horsepower
and 258 lb-ft of torque. It also includes a brand-new 9-speed automatic
transmission. One of the most innovative features on the new Acadia is the push-button
digital gear shifter, which frees up space in the cabin to create more
passenger volume and cargo space.
Inside, drivers and passengers will find
luxuries such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated
navigation, as well as a wireless phone charger and insulated cabin that
reduces wind and engine noise. Outside, features like power-folding mirrors, a
hands-free power liftgate, and high-class touches — like chrome accents and
20-inch wheels — are sure to draw attention to the refreshed GMC Acadia Denali.
