GMC trucks have long been known for their strong capabilities, sophisticated designs, and advanced features. The GMC lineup is getting even better with a variety of GMC truck updates for 2020. Here is what you can expect to see in the upcoming models.
The 2020 Sierra 1500 is getting a new Duramax® 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine. It is also expanding the availability of the ten-speed automatic transmission and carbon fiber bed across the selection of trim levels. You will be able to choose the CarbonPro bed on the AT4 and Denali. The ProGrade Trailering System also receives an update this year; offering up to 15 camera views.
For the 2020 model year, the GMC Sierra HD lineup is all-new. It delivers stronger capabilities than ever before with a class-leading maximum towing capacity of up to 35,500 pounds. The Sierra HD will also be available with the enhanced ProGrade Trailering system. Available Smart Trailer Integration lets you control certain trailer functions through the myGMC mobile app.
Tire Fill Alert is now a standard feature on the 2020 GMC Canyon. This system will give you both audible and visual alerts when the tires have reached the appropriate air pressure. The All Terrain trim will also come with the Driver Alert package, which includes Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert.
